This blog has gotten to the point where I feel I need to write an FAQ page. So here goes.

Where can I watch HH online?

The first place to look would be iplayer there is always at least one HH episode on it, if you have iplayer access.

Not in the UK? Then youtube is probably your best bet, you can just search “horrible histories” but there are also a few accounts that have high quality videos of various sketches that can be found here, here, here and here.

How many series of HH have there been?

So far 3. Series 1 and series 2 are available to buy on dvd. Series 3 is currently showing on CBBC and series 4 is currently being written.

What about Horrible Histories with Stephen Fry?

HH with Stephen Fry is the best bits of the first two series with links in-between sketches done by Mr Fry, there are no new sketches in it.

And what is Gory Games?

Gorry games is a game show presented by Rattus Rattus and David Lamb it is shown on CBBC and has one series so far.

Will you reblog my stuff?

Yes, please tag it horrible histories and I’ll find it when I’m searching tags to reblog. 

Can I submit stuff to your blog?

Certainly, please use the submission button, but please do not submit me a link to a post you have made, I’ll find that anyway through searching tags and posting bare links is not something I like to do.

You make gifs! Will you make me a gif of this bit?!!

No, sorry, I have other demands on my time and only like to make and post gifs that are a bit of the show that I thought would work as a gif and that do actually work when I’ve got them in photoshop.

Can you recommend a gif tutorial then?

Yes I can! This one shows the method I use to make my gifs. I did not make the tutorial!

I like the songs and would like to wander around listening to them on my mp3 player, it would be educational!

Yes it would. And mp3s ripped from the show by myself can be found here (links for the other 2 series at the bottom of the post). If a HH cd ever comes out though buy that it’ll be much better quality.
